Paper Towers

STEM: Te Mihi Rotation – Paper Towers

Learning Intention: To work together to create a tower that is as tall as possible.

Materials: 2 sheets of newspaper and 10 paper clips.

All of the materials had to be used. Extra points will be awarded if it is free standing.

Focus: working together, being able to reflect on what worked, what didn’t, what they would change next time.

Te Mihi team got to choose a STEM activity to do in either Room 2, 3 or 4. In Room 4 we were making paper towers. The challenge was to create it using a limited amount of materials. There were lots of successes and plenty of challenging moments.
