Writing Workshop

For our Te Mihi writing workshop some of our seniors have been learning how to use language features to make our writing more descriptive.

In this workshop we had to identify the difference between a simile and a metaphor. We worked out one compares one thing to something else and the other states that it is something.

Her eyes were ice cold? - Metaphor

Her eyes were as blue as ice.  Simile
