I graduated in December in 2017, from the University of Waikato. I have recently relocated to Taupo from Whakatane to embark on this very rewarding and exciting journey.
I love any activities outdoors, cooking, healthy living and spending quality time with family and friends. My partner Ken currently remains in Whakatane as a farmer on a beautiful piece of land in Taneatua and supports me and my role here at Wairakei Primary School.
I believe every child has the ability to be great, given the tools and direction to do so. I am passionate about promoting individuality while still achieving and becoming successful life-long learners. My classroom culture will feel safe, energetic and engaging, allowing students to take risks in their learning. I have the pleasure of working in Room 4 with students year 5 and 6 as part of the Te Mihi team. I am very excited to work with the senior syndicate providing our students with opportunities for leadership, to become and remain positive role models and also prepare them for their next learning adventure.
