Earle Garry’s dad went to ww2 and was in the pacific. (Great grandfather)
Shirley went to WW2 and was a radio operator in NZ. Also, she was the first person to hear Japanese had surrendered and had to keep it a secret for 5 days. (Great grandmother) there is an article on this.
